Zen Presence -What's it about?

Zen Presence is about life.  It is about awakening to what is important in your life.  It is about mindful living, identifying your values, and what adds value to your life.  It is about slowing down enough to experience life first hand.  It is about keeping hope.  Finally, it is about helping others to do the same.

Here at Zen Presence I share ideas and methods that help to develop happiness, fullfilment, and a sense of purpose.  In the last five years I have transformed my life from a life of stress, burnout, resentment, and unfullfilment to a life of balance.  I am happy with my life and I am happy with myself.  I continue to grow and expand each day, but I have learned to be content in the present moment.  Each day I seek a path with heart.  I would like to share with you what I have learned along the way.

You may notice that there are NO ADVERTISING BANNERS on Zen Presence.  Mainstream advertising and consumerism go against my values. Please support Zen Presence in one of the following manners:

  1. Hi Dan - Read your comment on my post at thinksimplenow and am very happy to have found your blog! I can't wait to have enough time to really get into it because you and I seem to be on the same page: that the purpose of simplifying is not just the simplicity itself, but the personal growth and development that's able to occur when you finally dig out from under all the physical cr@p! I hope you fared well in the storm. I grew up in Elizabeth City in the 60s and consider coastal NC my home, too. All the best - Kate

  4. Dan, I love what I have read so far. I'm going to continue exploring your blog. I have just started a blog a few weeks ago in this same catagory. I've been trying to read other blogs that are similar to mine to fine some great content that I can link my readers to. I think I have found that here. Keep up the good work!
