Scare Tactics

The use of fear in controlling others is understandable, maybe, with young children that aren't yet old enough to understand the consequences of their actions.  "NO!, don't touch that hot stove."  "STOP!, don't go into the street."

Using fear to control a population of adults is despicable.

"Let's build a wall and keep'em out!" - in the land that was built upon the very backbone of immigration.

"Don't raise the minimum wage - you'll lose your job!".  Meanwhile CEO's average pay has risen exponentially in the last 50 years while the average American has suffered "real" dollar pay cuts and working single member households can't afford rent.

Be careful about believing everything your mind tells you.  Once you're scared by the reptilian brain, your pre-frontal cortex can rationalize anything.
